David is a Councillor for the Witherley Ward
My family and I have lived in Witherley for over 20 years.
I am keen to help my village community as a representative on the Parish Council. I was formerly Chair of the Parish Council, Chair of the Witherley Memorial Playing Fields Trust and Joint Chair of the Scarecrow Committee.
I am nationally recognised expert in the field of heritage and landscape planning. I hope that I can assist the Parish Council, bringing my knowledge and experience of over 40 years working in the public sector as a senior Director with Severn Trent Water, the National Rivers Authority, the Environment Agency and Historic England.
I now run my own heritage and landscape consultancy firm, acting as an expert witness for Councils, developers and individual clients across England and Wales. I am keen to do my best to help to our villages flourish for the benefit of the current and future generations of villagers.
