Have Your Say On Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council's Local Plan
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council are currently consulting on a draft local plan. The Local Plan is the key planning document for the borough and it will guide future development in Hinckley and Bosworth up to 2039. The draft plan sets out a preferred strategy for housing and economic growth, and includes a number of planning policies covering a range of issues such as conserving and enhancing the natural and historic environment, sustainable transport, good design and responding to the challenges of climate change. The policies will be used to guide development and respond to economic, environmental and social issues within the borough.
Two online events have been organised for Parish and Neighbourhood Plan representatives on the draft Local Plan, with a particular focus on local areas and neighbourhood planning. Officers will provide a brief overview of the plan with an opportunity for Q and A to follow. Dates are as follows:
- Tuesday 17th August 6.30pm-7.30pm
- Thursday 19th August 6.30pm-7.30pm
Joining instructions and agenda will follow. To have an understanding of likely numbers I would be grateful if you could email email@example.com to confirm which of the dates you wish to attend (content for both events will be the same so there is no need to attend both dates unless you wish to do so).
