Local Governance Review - Draft Recommendations Consultation 2

The recent Local Governance Review consultation has resulted in a report outlining the recommended changes to some local Parish areas, including this Parish.

It states: The name of Witherley Parish be amended to "Witherley & Fenny Drayton Parish" with the name of the parish council also amended to the same. The number of councillors for Witherley ward be increased from four to five.

No. 7 Bus Service

The registered operator of this bus service between Fenny Drayton and Measham will change from Roberts to Stagecoach from 1st August 2022.

The timetable and prices will remain the same as current.

Net Zero Carbon

On Monday 11th July at 10:00 am

the County Council is holding a Net Zero Roadshow at Bosworth Battlefield as part of its consultation on their ambitions to make Leicestershire a net zero carbon county by 2045.

This will impact every household and resident and the Council is keen to begin spreading the message and receiving feedback.
