The recent Local Governance Review consultation has resulted in a report outlining the recommended changes to some local Parish areas, including this Parish.
It states: The name of Witherley Parish be amended to "Witherley & Fenny Drayton Parish" with the name of the parish council also amended to the same. The number of councillors for Witherley ward be increased from four to five.

If we don't encourage more people to use this service we will lose it.
Please have your say and most importantly get involved with keeping a very under used public service running.
There is a meeting at Sheepy Memorial Hall on 18th April, 2 p.m. Go along and see what needs to be done.

Witherley Parish Council has formally applied to Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council for permission to designate a neighbourhood area in order to create a Neighbourhood Development Plan for the whole parish.
