Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location. A road closure is required on Atterton Lane, Witherley between the junction with Mythe Lane and the junction with Kennel Lane, Witherley on the 14th September 2021 from 09:00 to 15:00.

Kennel Lane - Advanced Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Kennel Lane will be closed on 22nd September (it is not thought the work will take more than a day to complete) to allow Leicestershire County Council carry out repairs to the road.

A notice to confirm these arrangements will be made approximately 2 weeks ahead of the work.

Get Jabbed!

Anyone who still hasn't been able to get their vaccine can do so either by booking an appointment using the National Booking Service (or 119) or at your GP practice, or attending a drop-in clinic.

People are encouraged to keep an eye on the website for the latest available drop-in clinics - these are short notice but worth keeping an eye on in case it suits your working week.

Re: A5/M42 combined maintenance work

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the planned maintenance work on the A5 and M42 has been delayed again, and is now planned to start on 2nd August. The delays are caused by a lack of staff due to self-isolating restrictions.
